New York Defensive Driving Online

Our New York Defensive Driving Course is approved by the NYS DMV for point and insurance reduction. This online defensive driving provides you with the techniques and knowledge to keep you safe while driving on the roads. While the goal is to minimize the risks associated with operating a motor vehicle, the insurance and traffic ticket benefits are substantial.

Once you complete your course you will receive a mandatory 10% insurance reduction for 3 years. This course also allows you to reduce up to 4 points from your driving record.

Your Mandatory Auto Insurance Reduction

This online NYS DMV approved insurance reduction course will give you a guaranteed 10% car insurance discount. Successful completion will reduce your car insurance in the base rate of liability, no-fault and collision premiums for 3 years. What's even better, you can take this course online every 3 years to maintain your discount.

NY drivers of all ages are eligible for the insurance reduction. This defensive driving course is 100% online, requires no final exam and in addition to your insurance reduction benefit, you can also receive a reduction in traffic ticket points if applicable. So how does it work? Just register using the quick and secure registration form, complete the course, and when finished, present your completion certificate to your auto insurance provider. The average student could save $400. It's that easy!

NY Point Reduction Benefits

If you have received points on your driving record within the last 18 months our online course allows you to reduce your active point total by up to four points. So not only do you get a 10% car insurance reduction for 3 years, but you also qualify for traffic ticket point reduction.

You must have received the points within 18 months of course completion to be eligible. Completing this course does not affect points received for earlier violations or future violations. If you meet this criteria, you can reduce your active point total by up to four points! Note: The term "point reduction" means the New York State DMV will not count up to four points on your driving record toward license revocation or suspension.
